Creating New Patterns
We have 2 methods of creating new patterns at Dampkring Designs, depending on what you can give us to work with. Some restrictions apply depending on your design, so we advise a meeting with us to review your specific needs and we can give you an estimate before we start.
New Patterns from the KO Method
These are new patterns created from a sample or picture or even just an idea that you have. We charge $14.25 per piece to create. For example, a t-shirt would be 4 pieces (front, back, sleeve & neckband) so charge would be $14.25 x 4 = $57 for the pattern. We also offer a price reduction when the pattern has 6 or more pieces within.
New Patterns from a reference pattern
These are new patterns created from an existing pattern. This is the preferred method, as we will maintain the size and fit that you already work with when creating your new patterns. If you are starting out, we will advise you on the styles to start with the KO method, then we can use those styles (once fitted and approved) to create other new patterns with the reference pattern method.
We charge $11 per piece to create. For example, a t-shirt would be 4 pieces (front, back, sleeve & neckband) so charge would be $11 x 4 = $44 for the pattern. We also offer a price reduction when the pattern has 6 or more pieces within.
