Spec Measuring
Pattern spec measuring, also known as flat pattern measuring, refers to the process of taking precise measurements of a flat pattern to create a spec sheet (specification sheet). This spec sheet serves as a crucial communication tool in the apparel industry, providing detailed information about the garment's dimensions for manufacturing, quality control, and fit assessment.
We will provide you with your patterns finished measurements, so we measure the sew lines of the pattern (no seam allowance) and we can tailor what measurements you want based on your preferences. Single size spec measuring or graded (all sizes) measuring is available.
